Explore the TCM Approach to Abdominal Wellness,

 Qi Movement & Fluid Balance

What if abdominal wellness wasn't simply about the way your abdomen looks — but about understanding your body through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine?

In TCM, the abdomen is closely connected with the Middle Jiao and Lower Jiao, two functional regions associated with digestion, Qi movement, fluid transformation, and elimination.

The San Jiao — or Triple Burner / Triple Energizer — is a unique concept in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Rather than referring to one single anatomical organ, it describes a functional system connecting the upper, middle, and lower regions of the body.

This collection introduces these traditional concepts through practical, guided abdominal wellness practices you can learn and practice at home.

What Is the San Jiao?

In TCM theory, the body is viewed through three interconnected functional regions:

Region 01

Upper Jiao

Associated with the Heart and Lungs, overseeing the movement and upward distribution of Qi and essential fluids.

Region 02 • Core Focus

Middle Jiao

Located between the diaphragm and the navel. Associated with the Spleen, Stomach, Liver, and Gallbladder—central to TCM concepts of digestion, transformation, and transportation.

Region 03

Lower Jiao

Located below the navel, associated with the Kidneys, Bladder, and Intestines, facilitating downward drainage and elimination of fluids and waste.

Together, the three regions form an interconnected framework for understanding how Qi and fluids move throughout the entire body.

Why Abdominal Wellness?

The abdomen is an important area within the TCM framework, particularly the Middle and Lower Jiao. Rather than focusing on a single symptom or quick result, this collection teaches you how to approach abdominal self-care as part of a broader, sustainable TCM wellness practice.

You will learn guided techniques combining:
Abdominal Gua Sha  +  Tool-Based Massage  +  Hands-Only Massage
